The RETRAX tonneau cover is manufactured from
polycarbonate, a durable thermoplastic commonly
known as Lexan®. Our engineers utilized
the same polymer technology used in fighter jet
windshields, designing a bed cover that withstands
the most rugged use. This rigid, one-piece
sheet is engineered to retract without joints
or hinges that can trap dust, wear out or freeze.
Polycarbonate has excellent impact resistance
and is unaffected by moisture or temperatures
from -50º to +200º. RETRAX has
a gloss-black finish that adds a new dimension
of beauty to your pickup. Poly carbonate
requires no special maintenance; just treat it
like the hood of your pickup. UV protection
is built into the cover so it handles the sun
very well.

Tempered aluminum support beams imbedded into
the polycarbonate sheet add strength and security.
